Privacy Policy

Jack for RTD ("the campaign," "we," "us") is the candidate committee for Jack Rosenthal's campaign for the RTD Board of Directors, District O. This policy explains what information we collect through jackforrtd.com and our text message and email programs, and how we use it.
Information we collect
When you fill out a form on this site, we collect the information you give us, such as:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your mailing address, if you request a yard sign or transit map
- Your choices on the form, such as endorsing Jack, volunteering, or opting in to emails or texts
We also collect basic usage information automatically, such as pages visited, referring links, browser type, and approximate location, through Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) and our hosting provider, Cloudflare. These services may use cookies or similar technologies.
Donations are processed by ActBlue, not on this site. Information you provide when donating is governed by ActBlue's privacy policy.
How we use it
- To send you campaign updates by email, and by text message if you opted in
- To fulfill yard sign and transit map requests
- To contact you about volunteer opportunities you asked to hear about
- To list your endorsement, if you chose to endorse Jack
- To understand how people use the site and improve it
Text messages
If you opt in, we use your phone number to send you recurring campaign text messages, such as updates, event invitations, and volunteer opportunities. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. See our Terms of Use for full text message program terms.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
This does not include the service providers that help us send messages on our behalf, who may only use your information to provide that service to us.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run the campaign, such as our website host, email provider, and texting platform, solely to provide those services to us
- When required by law, including campaign finance reporting requirements
- Publicly, if you chose to endorse Jack and gave us permission to list your name
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
- Use the unsubscribe link in any campaign email to stop receiving emails.
- Email jack@jackforrtd.com to ask what information we have about you, or to have it corrected or deleted.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Security and retention
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, and keep it only as long as needed for the campaign or as required by law. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
